High-Efficiency Heat Pump Rebate
Before you look at upgrading your home heating & cooling system, take a look at this! The City of Gastonia is making it a little easier for you to "go green." To qualify for the rebate, you must provide the AHRI Certificate for the unit when permit is applied for and also send separately to the email link below with project address in the subject line. Electric Water Heater Replacement Rebate
The City of Gastonia offers a rebate for replacing a residential water heater. Simply install a new electric water heater that is thirty (30) gallons or larger and you can receive a rebate for $150. To qualify for the rebate, please contact the LaSonya Hilton email. in the Electric Division.
ENERGY STAR Home Rebate
Improving your home's energy efficiency with ENERGY STAR can help to lower high energy bills, improve comfort, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The City of Gastonia is offering a $500 rebate to customers who receive an ENERGY STAR certificate (requirements here) for each new home they build. Energy Efficient Lighting Rebate for Commercial and Industrial Customers
Commercial and Industrial electric customers served by the City of Gastonia may apply for an energy efficient lighting rebate. The rebate is available through the North Carolina Municipal Power Agency 1 to its member cities.
