The Fleet Services Division maintains the City's rolling stock fleet of approximately 965 pieces of vehicles and equipment. The staff consists of the Division Manager, Assistant Divisions Manager, Supervisor, Purchasing Assistant, Fleet Services Specialist, 14 ASE Certified Technicians, 1 Tire Changer, and 1 Welder. The division's responsibilities include preventative maintenance services, in-services for new vehicles, minor and major repairs to vehicles and equipment, acquisition of equipment replacements each fiscal year, purchase of fuel and maintenance of 3 fuel sites per UST guidelines, prepping surplus units for auction, coordination of accident process for vehicles and equipment involved in an accident, and road calls during normal business hours and after hours.
