Financial Services

Maintains the integrity of the City’s financial reporting, processes vendor invoices, tracks capital assets, and assists with grants, debt, and the annual audit.

Prepares and maintains the City’s annual operating budget in accordance with the North Carolina General Statutes.

Identifies funding opportunities and supports grant compliance and reporting.

Processes biweekly and monthly payroll, including deductions, benefits, taxes, and required reporting.

Handles the purchase of goods and services and the sale or disposal of surplus property.

Manages the City’s bank accounts, cash, and investments, with periodic reporting.
