Life Safety Division

The Gastonia Fire Department's Life Safety Division is responsible for fire code enforcement, fire investigations, and life safety education for our citizens.
Fire code enforcement involves inspections of all commercial dwellings inside the city limits, as well as new construction plan review and inspections, and inspections of schools and foster homes.
