Gastonia, NC. The Gastonia Police Department, in partnership with the Gastonia Police Foundation, was excited to receive and distribute donated goods like clothing, toys, food, and winter gear.
The holiday donations are helping 5 local families participating in the new Angels in Blue program this year.
Police Chief Trent Conard said “It’s wonderful to be able to help Gastonia families in need during the holidays and put smiles on those little faces. I want to thank all of our Gastonia business partners including Dick’s Sporting Goods, the Wow Supermarket, Mr. Nobody, and Best Buy. The donations, some of which came from our partners and Gastonia Police Department employees, reflect our strong commitment to the community.”
